Safety Valves

The 527 series safety valves are manufactured in compliance with the safety requirements imposed by Directive 97/23/CE regarding pressurized equipment.

Function

The safety valves are usually used to control the pressure on heat generators in heating systems and hot water tanks in water heating systems.

When the set pressure is reached, the valve opens and, by releasing it into the atmosphere, prevents the system pressure from reaching dangerous levels for the heat generator and the components of the system. The 527 series valves have a positive operation, guaranteeing the functions even if the membrane is worn or fails.
