Expansion Vessels
The HN/HT series of membrane expansion vessels are suitable for use in closed heating systems, according to DIN 12828, and cooling water systems.
The welded tanks are equipped with a replaceable bubble membrane inside. The steel chamber is not water-bearing and is pressurized with nitrogen.
Advantages of the Bubble Membrane:
Longer expansion vessel life
Reduced energy consumption
Improved water quality
The advantage of the bubble membrane is that the nitrogen bearing inside completely encloses the membrane and thus acts as a thermal insulator and corrosion protection.
