Filtration system on skid

A leading pharmaceutical company sought a special filtration system to remove activated carbon from the process liquid.

For this task, EIG CRUSTAG designed a custom-made combination of various basic filters, including valves. The pre-filter is composed of a filter bag housing with six filter bags to remove the mass of activated carbon. Downstream is a fine police filter consisting of a three-seat filter cartridge housing. The system was designed entirely in stainless steel 316L with the surface finish of product-contacting elements of Ra ≤ 0.8 µm.
